All I’m saying is we get the word out and hope it has as much impact as possible. Sometimes all it takes is for one large account to decline their service and sometimes all it takes is one person hearing about their dark side to make that happen. Don’t dissuade, persuade.

We do what we can though. Get the word out in the hopes that that knowledge will hit their profits to some degree. My point is being defeatist and making comments liken to “it doesn’t matter” only breeds more of the same sentiment in others. We need to encourage people to act in any way they can.

Support your local journalists, not mega news media, they’re only entertainment not actual journalists. They will always prioritize their bottom line over truth, always remember this.

Mainstream media news isn’t journalism, it’s entertainment. They won’t stand up for anything that doesn’t support their margins.

Voting with our wallet is always impactful, don’t dissuade people from doing that. I agree, writing the companies to let them know why you’re boycotting will have a much bigger impact but simply not supporting them with our dollars is also a good effort 👍🏻

If someone blocked you for something that silly, than you’ve lost nothing of importance. Don’t dwell on it.

Don’t engage with the trolls, it’s what they’re after, the drama. Block and move on with your life, don’t let their negativity have any influence on you.

Which is why having a place to organize and plan is going to be so important for the next few years. A place that will hopefully remain mostly clear of the trolls and drama that distract from what’s important.

Drop them, they don’t deserve your clicks, views, engagement, or money. They’ve shown they’re more concerned with their bottom line than our democracy.
