Actually, something like 70% of those stationed abroad are in Germany, Japan, and South Korea--none of which have jus soli. Italy, Spain, the UK, Guam (Americans anyway), Bahrain, Belgium, and Turkey--all the next biggest hosts--also do not have it. Most military kids don't have dual citizenship.

Of course, some of us are born dual citizens or are Americans who obtained other citizenships . . . .

There is evidence that commenting on social media can have significant effects, particularly on lurkers. You aren't going to change a hardened MAGA mind, but by presenting rational, reasoned, and evidence-based arguments, you can influence lurkers pretty significantly.
