Top tip, if you’re cycling on a narrow-ish road that has a pained cycle lane, ignore it completely. Cycle in the middle of the lane. Painted lines do more harm than good here. It makes drivers think they can pass you without leaving *any* space, as long as they don’t cross the line.

My take on yellow boxes (and their associated fines) is that they should extend to cover pedestrian crossings too. I know it’s technically already illegal to block a crossing but it doesn’t stop drivers doing it and there are seemingly no consequences.

I’ve finally got everything hooked up to the AV receiver (PS1–4, Apple TV, cassette deck). The latest change being a Sony component cable to squeeze slightly better quality out of the PS2.

Completely disassembled my PS2 (again) to replace the CR2032 battery inside. Now it can remember the time again!
