Sounds like we're both going to have had a big medical problem solved by these surgeries though! You forget the pain and discomfort and then you're just living in a slightly more cooperative body forever!

Oh man that's such torture!! I had a similar experience with my jaw surgery which was that my jaw was wired shut for three weeks so I could only drink small amounts of liquid through a syringe, but my antibiotics and pain meds made me SO nauseous to take on a basically empty stomach. It gets better!
