So, I'm not saying where I am but I've just been having dinner in a tiny back-street fast food place. Three tables. One empty, one me, one with three police. Football on the TV (looks like a dodgy stream!).

One of the police takes a call from his wife/gf/partner.

It's one of the few things we all do & still some people try to hide it out of some kind of weird sense of shame. I will never understand it.

If someone tells me they're going to the bathroom, I always try to reassure them that they don't smell too bad and a shower when they get home will be fine.
