/3 The idea that the American people were a simmering cauldron of anxiety about trans issues and the GOP just finally acknowledged it is ridiculous. The trans panic is as cynical, bad-faith, and artificial as the “people eating dogs” panic. “Moderating” to their framing is capitulation to evil.

Poor Proles Almanac is enjoyable and hasn't veered into sketchy territory so far (just listened to their Elderberry pod - really interesting).

My wife played against Becky in STL (smaller school and upset Becky's Ladue team Becky's junior year!). We've followed Becky's career since and always rooted for her success. What joy it was when she came to our Thorns! We got to see her play twice this year.
