Holy crap.
“We don’t know what’s happened to these four dozen New Mexicans. They’ve effectively disappeared. They’re gone.”

I know this first hand. When I was a child, my entire community was branded as spies and sabateurs, justifying our internment inside barbed wire camps for years without due process, trial or charge.

Maybe it's time for a boycott divestment sanctions campaign against the United States? I'm a citizen of the US, living there now. I would welcome outside pressures to help change circumstances so we can act. The problem I guess would be that such campaigns could create a rally round the flag dynamic
Your tourism industry will screech to a halt won’t it? Many of us are staying away to boycott now many will stay away out of fear.

What example as should we turn to in order to rout this anti-democratic horror show?
If the Supreme Court ultimately agrees with what the gov't is arguing today, that the President has broad Article II powers that would permit it to deport people & there can be no judicial review, then literally no one is safe.

This whole campaign is disgraceful. This administration which is riddled with actual antisemites is using antisemitism as a stalking horse for its campaign against all universities. A kind of elaborate and hideous gaslighting.

Now more than 300. Including children and even babies.

All so Netanyahu can avoid a court date today.

Sick stuff from Netanyahu’s Israel, backed by Trump.
Attacks are continuing in Gaza. The death toll has reached 244.

NEW POST: Email, data show WAMC's 'Roundtable' producer Sarah LaDuke and host Joe Donahue completely excluded Palestinian panelists since the start of the Gaza war, refused to dialogue with Palestinians seeking to appear, and likely removed social media criticism of those problems.

Palestinian exclusion on WAMC's 'The Roundtable' is likely an editorial policy, part 1: Emails, data, and a deleted social media thread
Roundtable producers covered entire Gaza war with ZERO Palestinian panelists, ignored Palestinian requests to appear, deleted complaints from social media.

243 days ago, Israeli forces attacked World Central Kitchen vehicles, killing 7 aid workers from across the world — including the US.

The US did not respond with policy change.

Today, Israeli forces reportedly attacked another car carrying WCK workers, killing at least 5 people.

Do not become numb to this genocide.

Israeli airstrikes have killed nearly 100 Palestinian civilians in the past 24 hours. This, immediately after Biden sent another $650M in arms to Netanyahu, and after Netanyahu was charged with war crimes by the ICC. Horrific.

Iconic timing at the Nan Goldin opening in Berlin last night: museum director Klaus Biesenbach passionately reaffirming the institution’s commitment to freedom of expression - just as its security staff quietly removed a protest banner right behind him.

On Nov. 13, Secretary Blinken, in the Biden administration’s ongoing effort to blame Hamas for the lack of a ceasefire deal, claimed they had been so unwilling to negotiate that Qatar told them to leave. However, on Nov. 9, Qatar's foreign ministry already called these reports "inaccurate."🧵

Right on.
Dems already did this on immigration and got painted as open border communist globalists anyway. This simply does not work. Dems need to have a back bone and actually argue from their differences with conservatives rather than bending over and adopting conservative lite positions because of polls.
growing chorus of “throw trans people to the wolves” from high profile libs is not shocking but it is certainly nerve-wracking lol
