I think that many of them would trade the entire constitution to keep the 2nd Amendment. Irony is once you lose the Constitution, the autocracy won’t want you to have guns

I wish I could find any humor in this. But I am heartbroken by this country. Grew up in a military family. My dad died from Agent Orange. My wife spent 14 months in Baghdad as a nurse. At 64 I am ashamed of Americans and our nation. So forgive me if I cry at the situation and not laugh
It occurs to me that I can no longer take comfort in "well at least we weren't as stupid as Brexit."
