Haha! Seymour’s afraid Peters is lining up to work with Labour. Now why would he worry about a thing like that? Oh yes. Because Seymour knows he’s out of government at the next election.

Also! PM chimes in with incoherent drivel. Can my day get any better?
November 20, 2025 at 3:32 AM
Not that anyone asked, but

the single biggest risk to a good election outcome is currently the TOP party

Even if they come out hard against NACT1 (which they won’t) they can achieve little of value that’s not already covered by existing opposition parties

They won’t get 5% anyway

Days like today I just wanna run through the streets and scream at full volume in in a loud, angsty, breaking voice WEIRDO! WEIRDO!

Because today is not just a day of XLs but also a day of managing multimedia files which are reflected in the XLs and are both also ...

WEIRDO! WEIRDO!

I love both these writers, but this is a really excellent and strong stance by the book awards people.

Top writers ruled out of NZ book awards due to AI covers
For the first time AI regulations have been applied to the Ockham New Zealand Book Awards, including every detail from cover to cover.

Just here to say the connections between the southern line and the western line at Newmarket are truly a thing of beauty

You walk off a train on one side of the platform, onto a train on the other side, and off you go

There and back, same thing

Of all the parties founded since MMP in 1996, approximately fuck all ever made it over 5%, and none without a recognisable MP in their starter pack. Still, nice idea, from the POV of democracy.

These guys be like NZ1 for millennials: work with anyone, and – unlike NZ1 – possibly for the better.

I got to visit this house recently. It's astonishing. It's a stunning building on beautiful grounds in a brilliant central location, and it was a hub for many artists of many disciplines over many years.

All it needs now is deep pockets.

Normalise use of the word “Capitalist” as a slur, an insult, something to fear, like a public menace, a stinking pestilence that gouges your flesh then reproduces inside you, annihilates all civil society and completely destabilises Earth’s ecosystems, precipitating a cascade of mass extinctions.

For context, four Aussie banks took approximately $6.5 billion out of the Aotearoa economy in the last year or so

The majority of which was gleaned from mortgages on family homes

The economy is improving? Sweety, it's tanking, sinking, shitting itself sideways, and you're a big part of the reason
