They are 33 & 34 so a drop off has to be expected, especially Salah who needs the pace to get past defenders. I had hoped it would have been a bit more gradual than we've seen this season though.

VD & Mo are old players now. Their drop off is no real surprise. Many of the rest are serial winners at the club and the new signings are very good players, they have shown it in the past.
The longer that they all play badly, individually & as a team, you have to question the coaching.

I've said similar to friends. A couple of key players are ageing but most of that squad have won a title or two. We know Isak is quality at this level. Kerkez looked really good at Bournemouth last season. How come they're all shite now? It all points to the coach as far as I'm concerned.

As a mate said to me recently, Klopp had faith in every single member of his squad. He gave them all belief in themselves. I see very little of that now.

Whereas Klopp was known for having them train as they played. High intensity.

Definitely. He's far from blameless himself though. The squad looks unbalanced and short on depth. Too many changes over the summer and not enough the summer before.
