When you own as many black clothes as I do (aging emos die hard 😂) and you live in the UK where there’s currently 9 hours of daylight (and still waning) you sit up in the morning and do your mending #mending 🧶

Finished these a week or so ago and forgot to post a picture - this is my standard sock recipe in a self striping 4ply, I just needed another pair of socks for the winter

Why do hate the game so much? The devs are trying so hard. It’s literally early access, be grateful they’re sharing it with us. They can’t just develop 24/7 they have families

POV you ask why a £15 game that’s been out for 2 years doesn’t have a jump button

My mum died a few days ago. She was a wonderful Mum who was honest and kind with a fierce sense of justice. She taught me so much.
I am lucky to have a great support network around me, but updates will be limited while we are grieving this profound loss

Also do you rest or go straight on with the plying? Honestly I’ve done both and don’t see that much difference, but maybe that’s because of the kinds of yarn I usually spin

Rainbow yarn is finished, it had a LOT of energy coming of the bobbin, but dried perfectly into a balanced skein after some light finishing

Spinning a blend of Falkland Corriedale & Perendale. It’s so smooth and happy to become yarn, it’s almost spinning itself. The last time I spun Corriedale it puffed up a lot during finishing, so will be interesting to see what happens with this
