Like, life ain't perfect, but I'm honestly doing so much better these days. My low days aren't as intense. I'm going out and moving around. I'm engaging with the city community feels here. Heck I went to a seminar at the library today.

Did leaving one bad situation (the state of New Jersey) really unfuck that many of the things I was struggling with, to find happiness in my life? I thought it was a joke when someone said leaving where you're from is one of the best things you can do.

Things in the queer experience I learned the other night: If you wear a shirt that says "I probably can't lift you," to a queer/lesbian event, a lot of queer ppl/lesbians will ask you for uppies. Not "can you lift me, then?" No. Specifically. Uppies.
