Well, I had my first major surgery, and it went very well. First pic is the last one of that version of me before the op. I am recovering day 4 post-op, and all I can eat is very time things, smoothies, or very soft food. I tried to eat my bowl of noods down 1 by 1, but gave up. Back to smoothies!

18 months today, out and about for over two years.

I guess 18 is my number today!
So much has happened since. I feel at home in my own body for the first time in my life. It is the the greatest gift I have ever given myself.
I am 43 years old. It's never too late.

Random health food post! My lunches for the past month or so have cost less than $30 combined. Lentils, barley, and beans can be cooked easily from their raw state. For me, a single bag of lentils + sauce and other veggies lasts a week and I never get tired of it! A bag is maybe $4 for a pound.

Made a curried red lentils from scratch for lunch, made a lot of guesses, but it's actually delish. Although it would probably be better as a sauce over something at this point. 😆
