I think this might be my favourite moment of #UniversityChallenge of all time. Topic whiplash to the nth degree.

I've been using the #birdNET library to analyse recordings of birds in my garden and it's so unbelievably good. Building a dashboard for a live(ish) view of what's visiting the garden.

Parakeets aren't errors by the way, this is with some test audio from St James's Park!

10/10 work, birdNET!

Might be able to hit this list?

I didn't know the geography - Damascus is super close to the border with Israel. Circled town is Qatana, reported position of Israeli troops in the article.

Nobel prize v2.0 to be announced soon? Perhaps the corporate sponsorship directly? The Fox Public Virtue Awards?

I think the tech jargon for computer security is reaching "sounds quite naughty" proportions.

I'm very upset by how old this made me feel. That episode feels circa. 2015 in my brain. I was desperately hoping the episode aired in 2015 but they had for some reason travelled to 2010 in the episode... Nope

Hey, I can't fight car design trends! Maybe I should have gone with the "large" truck I was offered and taken up two spots?

I went to the US in April to view the eclipse and attempted to rent "compacts" in different states. In Texas I received a "small" truck and in Nevada I received a "sport". Not my cup of tea but I cannot deny I had the true American experience. 🦅⛽

This is a journey of 6,885km and I have bad news for the Tanzanian FA's logistics people: Google Flights can't seem to make it work...

Of those 4 possibilities, 3 have occurred (all at least once in major tournaments / qualifying):
SWE-DEN (54 times, they're neighbours! Most recently 2018-06-02)
CYP-RUS (6 times. Most recently 2018-06-02)
POL-AND (2 times. Most recently 2018-06-02)
BHU-TAN has never happened!

If you restrict the country spelled out in the score to a 6-letter name (assuming CUB-A## is not interesting for Cuba); Cyprus-Russia (CYP-RUS), Poland-Andorra (POL-AND), and Bhutan-Tanzania (BHU-TAN).

Pointless trivia: When Sweden play Denmark at home in international football, the scoreboard reads SWE-DEN. As far as I can work out, this occurs between 4 countries with FIFA's official three-letter country codes.
