The fact that almost half of Americans still retain some deep-felt support for Trump (despite the falsehoods & hatred), as well as Trump's ongoing evisceration of American research & education . . . suggests the the disease is endemic and the damage long-lasting.

1. Subsidize #electricity consumption with borrowed money to the tune of $9 billion/year-- about $500/person

2. Subsidized electricity leads to consumption outstripping supply

3. Then launch program to provide rebates on household appliances
