Yeah we talked about that a bit, neither of us knows. We don't whakapapa back to any other iwi so no idea if it's just more visible with us 🤷 either way, it's really discouraging.

It just takes one or two people like that to wreak a people-driven organisation, and they're the type to seek power wherever they can. Dad and I were talking on the weekend about it, I have no idea how you stop it from happening without discouraging people from stepping in to help.

I'm Ngāpuhi and I see so much of that in our orgs. Big personalities who are more interested in being the boss than supporting the kaupapa. Exhausting.

I haven't been able to trigger the classic plan by pretending to cancel. I just get a "look at the benefits you're going to lose" page and a "yes I'm sure I want to cancel" option at the bottom of it.
