Not sure how “new” it is, Mike, this was publishing in the 80s/90s so it’s probably very outdated by now.

When I was a book editor it was my job to write the blurb for each book I had worked on, so I would know the book inside out. This was distinct from endorsements from other authors who had rarely read the book. They were asked to provide a “shout line” for the cover as a favour to the publisher.

Our dog died two weeks ago. Every day there are little reminders. Just found a cute bow tie the groomer attached to his collar. The birds are really enjoying the feeders in peace though.
