I think the “digital analogue” vibes comes from a few things:

-analog media always looks like *itself* and KidPix art always looks DECIDEDLY digital.
-it only has two history states, making it really unforgiving
-the narrowest range of features I’ve seen in 2D art software

I literally JUST rented a CRT I can’t *not* jump on this bandwagon.

The two Rodney-focused episodes I can think of involve him sharing Darryl’s love of cooking and being really good at calming Zoë down. In both cases it’s clear that he views the MacPhersons as his second family.

Also props on the show for making the Bitterman kids pretty cute despite being absolute menaces.
I swear half the show’s appeal is the chaos these three gremlins wreak.

(Though I esp. like Rodney because he’s more complex than he lets on and is a shockingly-good godson to Daryl and Wanda)
