Governor Tim Walz was briefed on ‘ongoing situation’ in which Minneapolis-area state senator and representative were attacked
Two Minnesota lawmakers have been shot in their separate homes.
Local news stations identified the victims as state senator John Hoffman and state representative Melissa Hortman. Both are members of the Democratic-Farmer-Labor party. There is little information on the suspect at this time. Continue reading...

Oops,I planned to put this comment before the link. Greg Brown has been one of my all time favorite singer songwriters and I realized today I hadn’t heard anything new from him lately. It turns out he’s retired but he did apparently play this live somewhere 8 years ago and it’s relevant once again.
