I'm a mum, granny, published writer and artist/illustrator who loves pottering round my cottage and garden. I love spending time with my family, reading, painting and writing.

Jane Eyre.
Vanity Fair.
Madame Bovary.
The Quiet American.
Stefan Zweig‘s "Chess Story“.
All of Tolstoi.
All of Austen.
David Copperfield.
Novels to re-read every decade or so, because you see something new and more insightful in them each time as you get older. The Austen canon certainly. Middlemarch. Anna Karenina. War and Peace. Crime and Punishment. Bleak House. Other suggestions?
