USDA says it accidentally fired officials working on bird flu and is trying to rehire them

My Meyer lemon tree has been producing these crazy big lemons the past few years. I’ve read it may be cross pollination with an orange tree- our navel orange is about 20 feet from the lemon. Has anyone heard of this?
