Like everyone, I've looked hopefully forward to a new year since 2020. Every year, I've been disappointed by, oh say, 1/6. This year, I was determined to not have any expectations. Yet, I was lulled into a false sense of hope in those 1st 48 hours. Shame on me. Lucy's pulled the football again.
