I'm heavily contrasting this experience with a specific competing clipsite, which, when doing compliance checks, gives creators clear directions to alter content (including time stamps of violations in videos), moves non-compliant clips into draft mode until modified for compliance rather than outright deleting, and actually talks to us like the independent and competent businesspeople we are.

I work scrupulously to keep hundreds of clips in compliance across multiple sites, including proactively researching changes on ManyVids - because I have never once received an email from y'all about compliance and terms changes in over four years of being on the site.

It is utterly infuriating to be back-infringed for your own vague policies that have been changed multiple times this year alone and, when suggesting that maybe the system could be improved, be hit with "permanent termination" as a possible outcome here. Really? This is how you respond to feedback? You don't have a better block of text to copy?

Waste of my time, waste of my energy, and makes me believe you don't give a damn about the user base that makes you money.
