Tbh I think I type faster when I'm not transcribing something too. When I can just write what I know is in my head without stopping I'm pretty sure I'm faster. but checking for that would be hard lol.

Update: I took a quick speed test, only at 45 WPM lol. Took a second, ignoring perfection and got 52 WPM.

Nah I want the romulan historians who look through the history books in a few hundred years to scratch their head and ask themselves why they limited the only faction in the galaxy that was reasonably chill from advancing themselves when all their neighbors were far worse.

Of course they do! But so do humans! And limiting humans on some arbitrary technological bounds has harmed the romulan star empire too because the federation, lacking cloaking tech, was unable to advance the tech further to counter the dominion, ultimately pulling romulans into the war too.

I think he was correct to match the aggressive energy of the romulans who don't see the treaty in the same way humans do and regularly flaunt it to, instead, push technological bounds further and invent something that was not even a cloak but something far different.

What are your thoughts on the federation romulan treaty? Do you think it is fair? Do you think the Federation took the bad end of the deal? Do you think the romulans would risk breaking the treaty if the federation did as the romulans did and go through the neutral zone all the time?
