Just read the indictment. Gonna guess this is the most detail we get about why this happened.
Presuming these messages weren't some sort of misdirect, he hated Charlie Kirk because Kirk was hateful. Honestly doesn't sound like he had a super clear idea why he inscribed the memes on his bullets.

It's a strange feeling to be overwhelmed by your own writing. I've been so used to writing for classes, that I forgot I would just open a word document and write all sorts of stuff. Tough part now is to know what to spend time on revisions.
