Can confirm as someone who first ran for school board in response to Trump's 2016 win. It's really the front line, and reinforcements are needed!
your school boards and community boards need you. they’ve been getting pummeled by qanon/antivax/transphobic conspiracy theorists.
Going to reiterate that everyone on this website should run for something. Tree warden, Senator, horse catcher, whatever. The Democratic Party is currently screaming at each other about precisely how much more racist and transphobic they should get. Sneak past them, primary an old guy, take control.

True enough. In my 8th year on my local school board. What happened 8 years ago to precipitate such an out of character move for me? Trump's 1st election victory. It's been rewarding and challenging beyond belief.
This is how New Mexico went from 49th in everything bad & 1 in drunk driving to free abortion legal weed universal preK paradise: good people ran for local offices & knocked out old dudes. We stole the Democratic Party while we were at it.
