I don't know how the Dumbos were moved for the New Fantasyland, but I'm going to guess a flatbed trailer.

There are only so many ways to move Dumbo.

#25YearsAgoTodayAtDisneyland (1/12/2001) AMC mascot Clippy makes an appearance for the dedication of the theater.

When I posted this on Twitter a few years back, it seemed this was the best photo of the character people had seen. (I also learned it was named Clippy and not "film thing.")

This is the only other Disneyland time capsule I know about, from a 1990 Disneyland Line. For whatever reason, it doesn't mention when it is supposed to be opened!

The 1967 New Tomorrowland included a pretty memorable parterre at the entrance.

The Spring 1988 Disney News says that the Floral Mickey was the world's most well-known parterre.

So I ask: what is your second-most favorite parterre?

The Jungle Cruise would have a very different feel if your launch were flown through the jungle by a crane instead of being guided by an undersea rail.

The first photo of the Moonliner being installed in July 1955, from Disneyland: The First Thirty Years (1985) was seared into my brain, so it was a treat to be there on May 1, 1998 when Moonliner III was put upright for the first time!

I even made it into Bruce Gordon's music video.
