I completely disagree. Interrupting a game that doesn't stop for any amount of time is not acceptable, and it's not how men's soccer is treated.

I'm not talking about on-air talent or folks in the production truck here. This is a leadership-level decision from the broadcasters and the league.

It's impossible to square the big talk about valuing the product when it comes to media deals with how the product is actually treated.

González acknowledged that the emotions of the second half are things the Spirit will have to learn from, & emphasized that they have to remember to control what they can control in the moment. Says that's an issue the team will keep working on.

Adrián González says now that the emotions of full time have calmed a bit, this game is one he wants the Spirit to learn from.

Paraphrasing on a longer answer but one of those lessons is how the group sees a game out, & how they make sure to convert a lead/good performance into three points.

Sheridan saved 3 1v1s in this game, & San Diego has an equalizer from basically their only chance in the 90 minutes.

Gonna be a lot of ref talk, but I'd be remiss if I didn't say the Spirit should have buried this game long ago.
