I think the Labour government has perpetrated a fraud on the people that voted for them. They had 14 years to prepare, they said they were ready. It looks they’ve are making it up as they go along. We appear to have elected a handful of factions who disagree rather than an effective majority.

We’ve been nursing one of our dogs through cataract surgery. In the early days the vet recommended infant Calpol, would that be useful for the pain? Also for the owner there is a drug marketed as Librella in the UK which gave my Labrador enormous relief from his Arthritis.

We have a Watson too. But Mrs Floof does that thing with her treats. She hides one treat in her mouth, pretends she didn’t get it and struggles to get more in her mouth. This is Mrs Floof

I’ve been wearing glasses for 45 years now. My father had suspicions I couldn’t see properly and took me outside. “Read the number plate on that car” he said. “I can’t see any cars” came my reply :-) I imagine I had a similar reaction to that little lad when I got my first pair of specs!

Sending you my heartfelt condolences I might be a stranger but I have had to say goodbye to many really good dogs. It can be the kindest thing but it bloody hurts.
