I was today years old when I learned that hitting Control + Backspace would delete entire words. And it's not even new. It's been there practically forever.

I am ashamed.

And yes, Ctrl+Delete apparently also does entire words, which I also learned today, and am also ashamed to have not known.

Anybody else heard of this Bouba-Kiki effect before? This came up in some article I was reading (so of course I had to go dive down and learn more). If you were told: in this picture there are two shapes: Bouba and Kiki. Which one is which? How would you pick?

I'm curious as to how others are tackling this issue: How do we get AI users to know that AI is giving them garbage?

If you have years of experience dealing with misinformation (and a head full of actual true facts) there's a bit of "spidey-sense" that allows you to notice that something is off....

I was today-years-old when I finally understood that Monty Python joke with the french guards. One of the littles is learning to read and read out to me: "Ke-ni-gets". And I corrected them and said "When we see the Kn, that makes an 'n' sound. So this is "Knights!"

And then the penny dropped.
