I was initially planning on only looking, but I wanted to support a local, hopefully actually Native American run business, so I bought this little guy!
(I hope the alt text is good enough — I'm not sure of the material or the name of the pattern on the packs.)

A Halloween bucket filled with individually wrapped snacks including: Popcorn, cheesirs, cookies, Pringles, laffy taffy, different kinds of granola bars, fruit snacks, dumdums, popping candy, and sour punch straws. A Wisconsin Cheeseman charcuterie spread with a variety of soft and hard cheeses, sausages, and spreads, bon bon cookies, strawberry candies, and little cake things that may or may not be called tortes I don't know.

OCD isn't a thing you have to have had since you were young either. You can just develop it.
You can actively be contributing to people developing OCD or people who already have it developing new triggers.
You *have* to be cognizant of this when you're giving your PSAs!
Causes The cause of obsessive-compulsive disorder isn't fully understood. Main theories include: Biology. OCD may be due to changes in your body's natural chemistry or brain functions. Genetics. OCD may have a genetic component, but specific genes have yet to be found. Learning. Obsessive fears and compulsive behaviors can be learned from watching family members or learning them over time. Risk factors Factors that may raise the risk of causing obsessive-compulsive disorder include: Family history. Having parents or other family members with the disorder can raise your risk of getting OCD. Stressful life events. If you've gone through traumatic or stressful events, your risk may increase. This reaction may cause the intrusive thoughts, rituals and emotional distress seen in OCD. Other mental health disorders. OCD may be related to other mental health disorders, such as anxiety disorders, depression, substance abuse or tic disorders.

But generative AI, which creates words and images with minimal human input based on human-created works used to train software, is only one form of the technology. Other machine-learning tools have been adapted by Hollywood animation productions as a method to assist animators, not render them obsolete. Such machine-learning technology has been used in 2018’s “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” and its 2023 sequel, “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,” which sought to replicate the hand-drawn style of comic books in a CGI animated film while exploring new ways to express that style through color and design. This included replicating ink lines on characters, which is a key part of comic book line art. This machine-learning technology, designed to free animators from a menial task that would have added weeks if not months of work to the animation process, isn’t the same as generative AI. It’s still based around the work done by animators on the project it’s being used for, with their supervision. That’s as opposed to generative AI, which can pull images, video and words from media outside of the project being worked on and create something without substantial direct human input.

Here are two examples near the beginning. Do either of these benefit from tone indicators? And if I have choices down the line that would benefit more, will that then throw off player expectations of ones that *don't*?
"Oh. Um." Brigid turns a bit red. "It-it's a class about the paranormal?" She looks at you sheepishly, as though expecting you to laugh at her. What a coincidence, you're _also_ headed to a class on the paranormal! Choices: Laugh. Reassure. Ignore the sheepishness. "Are... are you really okay with this?" Brigid asks. She looks at you with all the Brigid-concern she can muster (which is quite a lot), and even though Felixe keeps his eyes on the road, you can tell he's waiting for your response. Choices: "Honestly, it could be fun!" You shrug. "It'll be fine." "I am thinking of loopholes as we speak."

And he's the guy who the basic idea was that like anytime you every society, no matter how like liberal and democracy, draws a line between like who are members of the community and who aren't, who is a citizen and who isn't, and wherever you find that line, anytime there's a border, that's the thing you can use to destroy that liberal democracy because you figure out where that is and you start pushing it inward and you start trying to define other groups as not part of the community

I should do a thing where I make a short game in different interactive fiction programs. I already have a handful downloaded and have messed around in each of them, and I know a few more I could do.
(Game Maker Studio isn't one of those, it's just in the same section on my shortcuts)

Women are also welcome to become honorary KCBROs (after all, my two best friends are women). WHAT IS "GUY STUFF?" Guy stuff is anything guys do together: Playing 4-player Mario Kart 64 on a Saturday afternoon is guy stuff. Eating sushi in the Plaza is guy stuff. Sitting around, talking about life and relationships is guy stuff. Friday night horror movies and beers at Screenland Armour is guy stuff. Off-Broadway shows, Chiefs games, bowling, cosplay, MMA classes . . . Guy stuff is whatever we want it to be.
