this field biologist does a great job highlighting the insidiousness of AI editing

these one-click AI edit buttons are incredibly appealing to many photographers, amateurs and professionals alike, and are framed as innocuous

this is worth sharing and educating people about

When the Earth warmed by 4C over 10,000 years 76% of all animals on the planet died.

We’re on track for 4C of heating in our children’s lifetimes.

Living through the most dangerous moment in our species history, & most people have no idea.

We’re being distracted to death.

It takes 225 million years or so for the Solar System to make one orbit around the galaxy. Sharks evolved long enough ago that they’ve done it twice.

Oh this makes me so sad. I met Jane once, she was incredible-my photo was right next to hers at National Geographic (2 blondes with their hair pulled back). What a legend. What an example for all of humanity. Thank you for showing us how to be better Earth citizens. Rest in peace and rise in power.

Oxford is the biggest "brand" of the UK schools. As such, it has a lot more to lose when this goes wrong, and this will go wrong. Very wrong. For so many reasons.
