High inflation pushes spending indicators up. People are paying more for less or more for the same. Neither is good or an indicator of financial health or satisfaction for most consumers. Think about the high credit card debt level too.

Charlatan Tina:

This is good news. I followed the trial, sentencing as well as shenanigans of Tina Peters. She was treated more than fairly by the Colorado court system. And the judge was extremely patient with her misconduct while she was out on bail & during court sessions. Tina is already where she belongs.

The same or more money might be spent in my suggested ways but not just handed to companies & people who own them/invest in them who are already super wealthy/billionaires.

Invest in training centers, education of locals. Support rural schools, infrastructure & healthcare facilities. Incentivize good housing including rehab funds for low income local homes. Encourage recreational and other fun activities. Make rural areas appealing again for young people/new residents.

New centers don’t have lots of plumbing/roofing issues & that work would be done by 3rd party vendors who would drive to the site, not live locally.Same for electricians.Rural areas lack healthcare, good schools, robust housing to lure families. Invest in an area to make it appealing without bribes.

Riggleman promoting more taxpayer funded incentives to lure data centers/others to areas they otherwise wouldn’t go in return for temp construction jobs (filled by temp residents) & nothing else. Reg utility customers get screwed & environmental regs shredded at expense of drinking water/clean air.

Unfortunately in Denver & at least a 100 mile radius law enforcement is nonexistent on streets & highways. They clearly don’t think making streets/highways safer is their job. Excessive speeds, ignoring Red lights, hitting pedestrians/cyclists is common. No tickets means higher insurance for all.

The “indictment” that was brought wasn’t an actual indictment: “This section does not permit the filing of a new indictment or information where the reason for the dismissal was the failure to file the indictment or information within the period prescribed by the applicable statute of limitations..”

The phone number for the Capitol is 202-224-3121 . People can then choose/ask for their Representative and Senator.

Voters should be calling mayors, council members & state level politicians to make their expectations clear. LE reports to them or are elected directly (usually sheriffs). If they disappoint voters in this regard, recall them when possible or vote them out next election. Attend public meetings too.

Citizens need to make it clear to state & local officials that we expect police & prosecutors to arrest & charge agents like these for state crimes (which Trump cannot pardon away). There is NO immunity benefiting agents like these when they commit crimes like those in the video did.

Someone pass along to those highly compensated but poorly performing taxpayer employees what Will Rogers said: “If you find yourself in a hole, stop digging"

Really? You think “hey now“ is sufficient? That’s laughable. How about criticizing/calling out to his face that his disrespect is unacceptable? Or start a question “Mr President fat piggy”. I have zero respect for a victimized/disrespected persons peers not truly rising to her/his defense.

This could mean members of his administration have already removed evidence that incriminates Trump & big money people who back him (help fill his pockets with $$). As such he is no longer worried about releasing the files. They've been "cleansed." Why else would he have fought release until now?

Trump is delusional. "Characterized by or holding false beliefs or judgments about external reality that are held despite incontrovertible evidence to the contrary, as a symptom of serious mental illness." Most of what he says is "untethered from reality." Nice job trump & non voters (F y'all).

You should post a link to the 2 minute video so people can accurately evaluate what he said in it.
