Literally had someone tell me ‘if it looks like a duck and walks like a duck, it is a duck’ about masculinity in a lesbian space… for all the trans women/femmes in that space to read. Literally fucking breaks my heart

Seeing how masc/butch/stud lesbians are treated in the (mostly younger) lesbian/wlw community HURTS my heart for the trans women/femmes that are also part of that community ‘oh we’re trans inclusive but if you look like a man you’re not a woman and can’t call yourself a lesbian’

The difference between youth transition and previous moral panics is that all the evidence indicates the *opposite* is the actual problem: Trans kids face far too much gatekeeping.

Based on the medical and social evidence we should be making transition easier. Instead we're banning it by law.
