I can't believe how well he's done. Even with a huge gash in his back he was hardly bothered, we barely needed the neck donut and he's not had any apparent doggie PTSD. Our biggest problem is trying to get him to not do the all the things he wants to do.

2 weeks to the day after he was attacked, Sam got his stitches out. He's doing really well. And he was a very good boy.

Danielle Smith's 'plan' for a pipeline is nothing but a pipe dream.

There's no route, no partner, no funding, and no consultation. Just another $14 million of taxpayer funds wasted on a project that does nothing and goes nowhere.

Alberta's New Democrats got it done once, and we'll do it again.

It's a real conundrum when your entire ability to sell art relies on social media and you can't spend more than 5 minutes on it before you want to burn it all down & log off forever.

I stopped my sales to the US in March well before the tariffs and it has hurt, but it was the right thing to do for me.

Bsky has been ok for original sales. Print sales used to account for about 80% of my income when I was on twitter. 30 a month was not uncommon. Since I've been here exclusively over the last 3 years, I've probably sold 50 in total. And most of those were a fund raiser. Bsky does not buy prints

It's just awful. Things are so gross, I haven't done any art since June and haven't sold anything since then either.

This will be my worst sales year since 2018 when I didn't even have a website.

This is why I can no longer send $25 guillotine earrings to the US from Canada. It’s a minimum $80 charge plus shipping, handling and taxes.

How bad are tariffs going?

I paid for $32 of shaving cream from Canada. Unique stuff I’ve used for years, nothing like it in US. Small family business.

UPS guy came to my door today with box and said I have to pay additional $120 before he can hand it to me.

That makes it 5x more expensive!!! 🤯

Kim's still dealing with some trauma as she was the one walking him when it happened but we're doing ok. Except for the stitches & scar, you'd never know anything happened to him based on his behaviour.

Had to come home today due to commitments this weekend and because of all the fuckery with Sam being attacked, I didn't get finished. But it's close.

Also it was really hard to come home because the lake was gorgeous today. Colours were amazing and the weather was fantastic.

It was terrible... And has been really hard for Kim who was walking him. A few seconds different and it would have been so much worse. We're just so happy he's still with us.

You'd never know Sam was attacked by a German shepherd 8 days ago. (From this side.. his other side has punctures & a 4 inch gash...)

He's healing really well and seems to be completely back to his old self.
