Overall, it's been a very positive experience going back. I greatly enjoyed my time. I think my overall ranking of FROMSOFT's stuff would go like: 1. Dark Souls III 2. Dark Souls 3. Elden Ring 4. Dark Souls II 5. Bloodborne 6. Demon's Souls I still need to check out Sekiro

Second playthrough improved my opinion on the game however. Lots of cool stuff that I missed the first time around. (I missed out on Mohg, one of my favorite fights in the game!) I got a much better ending as well with the "Age of the Stars".

and environments (particularly the caves and underground dungeons). I still greatly enjoyed my time with it overall, but playing Dark Souls III afterwards and thinking that was a superior experience, Elden Ring kind of became an afterthought to me.

I think Octo 1 is a very good game that gets shat on for silly reasons (imo) but one thing 2 does that's so much better in comparison to 1 is its finale and that it has an epilogue that concludes everyone's story in such a satisfying way. Nothing grandiose but it's perfect.
