As @philbrickellmp.bsky.social notes, the UK's political finance rules leave the UK vulnerable to foreign influence.
The Government need to move forward with closing loopholes that allow foreign money to enter our politics and end the corrupting influence of big money in our democracy.

DPP Keir Starmer is essentially the key driver of change on the grooming gangs scandal. Not more than a dozen people in national politics or media are engaged with grooming as an issue until Starmer & Nazir Afzal are prosecuting grooming gangs, 2009-11. Entirely the inverse of the Musk narrative.
