This morning, we renamed a street in honor of the Tuskegee Airmen—brave Americans who served a nation that didn’t always serve them, but who believed in its promise.

Today, we remember them and all those who fought for freedom and equality.

My statement regarding the passage of HJR 73, a ballot initiative that would overturn the abortion protections we voted into law less than a year ago.

This is crucial for Downtown St. Louis. If the state legislature is really invested in our success, they will pass this bill without playing games.

Proposition A is the law—the voters said so. Sick leave and a living wage are requirements, not bargaining chips.
