Tomorrow, the Board of Aldermen will meet for the first of two times this week to make sure legislation gets passed prior to the summer recess.

This morning, we renamed a street in honor of the Tuskegee Airmen—brave Americans who served a nation that didn’t always serve them, but who believed in its promise.

Today, we remember them and all those who fought for freedom and equality.

This is crucial for Downtown St. Louis. If the state legislature is really invested in our success, they will pass this bill without playing games.

Proposition A is the law—the voters said so. Sick leave and a living wage are requirements, not bargaining chips.
