We had Christmas yesterday, while my son and my SO-in-law were here. I forgot the most important picture, one of all of us, but we had a nice time and played a new game that Silas got for Ashley. Fittingly, Ashley won. We had a wonderful wonderland for our Christmas, too. 🥰

Summary of the Trump/GOP tax bill: Tax cuts benefit the top 1% (~1.5 million people) the most. The middle class (~50% of the population) will see an average tax decrease of ~$1k. 50 million low income people will not benefit from tax cuts, but will pay more due to SNAP and Medicaid cuts. 1/

So, that "free" gift really is a trojan horse--riddled with security risks. Upgrading it will take years and will cost oodles of dollars.

That's about the number of missing children reported/year--most are found. Some were taken by relatives. The remainder, and possibly trafficked, is much smaller. The Justice Dept. in 2019 said it was less then 25,000. But oh, look! It went up during the Trump years!
