So, subsidies are being planned for farmers who have been hurt by the tarriffs. Does that mean that the tarriffs are not working? Ethanol needed subsidies to get off the ground. Does that mean ethanol wasn't working? Are all subsidies bad?

The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday rejected an appeal from Ghislaine Maxwell, a former girlfriend and associate of Jeffrey Epstein. Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year prison term.

A jury in Manhattan federal court convicted Maxwell in 2021 on charges that included sex trafficking a teenage girl.
