We adapted the cage for better mobility. Skye is always nearby keeping an eye on his brother. ❤️‍🩹
Mortimer and Skye the budgies, inside their main cage. Skye is at the door, watching out. Morty is at the bowl, eating. There are many colourful perches and padded ladders to help them go around without needing to jump. Mortimer on his adaptive platform, falling asleep on his food bowl, with Skye comfortably sitting nearby looking out.

Mortimer the budgie, our eldest at 10 years old. The most perfect confident boy, who taught all the other birds how things work.

His kidneys have failed, and we don't know how much longer we'll have with him. I wish this wasn't happening in the middle of moving house. We love him dearly.

I finally took the time to apply the stickers to our car today, just as some freezing rain is expected for tomorrow morning. It'll be a real trial by fire - or rather ice, we'll see how it does!
