Contrasts... by Toots Thielemans.
I first heard Toots on a Pat Metheny album and really enjoyed his harmonica improvisations. This album includes much more of that, along with virtuoso whistling and guitar solos.

Last night I went to the Providence Bruins 3-2 overtime win over the Utica Comets. It was a goalie duel between Simon Zajicek and Nico Daws who faced 36 and 45 shots respectively. Dans Locmelis led the offense with 2 goals including the overtime game winner. The P-Bruins are now 11-1-0!

An aspect of retro gaming I haven't talked about much is my love of pre-rendered backgrounds. Unlike fully 3D games, each screen was like an interactive painting that is rich in color and detail that allows you to really soak in the atmosphere the developers are trying to convey.

The Boston Bruins are on a roll right now having won 7 straight games and now are tied for first in the tightly contested Atlantic Division. Only 9 points separates first in the Eastern Conference to last place. Truly any #NHL team can win on a given night. It's incredibly fun to watch.

As a newer Twin Peaks fan, I just found out this week about Mizzurna Falls (1998) for the PS1. I got excited about it and then got sad when I found out it was only released in Japan. BUT THEN, I found out there's an English translation on Etsy, but then found out it's sold out. 🫠😵💫
