An aspect of retro gaming I haven't talked about much is my love of pre-rendered backgrounds. Unlike fully 3D games, each screen was like an interactive painting that is rich in color and detail that allows you to really soak in the atmosphere the developers are trying to convey.

Christian Wolanin joins the Providence Bruins, who currently have numerous players playing up in Boston. Wolanin is a 30 year old veteran D-Man coming off a 40 point Calder Cup winning season with the Abbotsford Canucks. He'll be a valuable edition to the P-Bruins who've had a great start.
