It has dog shit animation, the voice acting is very stiff, and the writing isn't amazing, but I have to really praise the 70s animated series of The Planet Of The Apes.
It's very good for a kids Saturday morning cartoon, with a continuing storyline and status quo updates. Better than it should be.

People not alive in the 1970s need to be aware that Planet Of The Apes didn't just have one TV series, but it had two.
Between 1968 and 1975 the only year without a new Apes movie or TV series release was 1969. It was a juggernaut of entriees with increasingly smaller budgets.
