It's been over a dozen years but every now and then I think about how my 11th grade English teacher told me I couldn't submit my short story for an assignment cause the story took place over like 6 months. She said short stories can only take place in a short period of time, like a few hours.

Swear to God the Frasier fanbase has the same issue Dragon Ball does with pre-Raditz material.

I saw people talk about Lilith's first appearance and how it was in Frasier season 1, and people said her character wouldn't work if she was a regular who appeared way more.

I adore Banjo Kazooie, I grew up on it, and for a period of my life it was the only game besides kind of Diddy Kong Racing that had these characters I loved. I know I praise some successors more but that first game is a masterpiece.

But can I just say I've never liked the layout of Grunty's Lair.

This year it's been tough seeing just how much AI art clients use at work. It's a staggering amount of the new artwork we're given to work with.

Beyond it just often being hideous it really shows how little these actual companies care about supporting real artists.

There still is a sense of progression as each world you unlock more tonics which can improve your abilities like longer gliding, or get quills pulled in.

You also have tonics to restore things the game removed like fall damage or a breath meter for underwater.

And cosmetics are worth it all.
