Clunky as hell, some of the worst “guess what I’m thinking” gameplay since old clunky Sierra games, but i loved it nonetheless

hahaha, posts like these decades later are *exactly* why one company I worked at had a tool that would search all code for swear words in the comments and then they would get the programmers to remove them before the final gold master
Super Mario Strikers and Mario Strikers Charged contain a threatening comment in the code for the shot accuracy variable: "DO NOT TOUCH THIS NUMBER MIKE INGLEHART". Ironically, the number has in fact been touched, since it was cut in half between the two games.

i do enjoy hundred line
but i really wish there was an auto win button for the battles
I have trouble with them, even on casual
There’s one now where all my units have changed, so I have to re-learn everything, and there’s other stuff like traps I have to lay out now

Forgive an older guy a little rambling, but I just want to talk a little bit about the state of games media. The written kind, in particular. There was a time where this could be an actual full-time job for many, but that was decades ago. It became a side hustle for 95% when the magazines died out.
