I wish one of the modern remixes of "I Am the Walrus" would keep the drums cutting out on the second verse like on the mono version. Its so little but its so memorable for me.

Blue by Joni Mitchell is the greatest break up album of all time because it truly captures the word-vomit/trauma dump post-break up period more than any other piece of art ever made.

Really only the last song is Christmasy, but this is basically a 60s Hounds of Love type album in all the best ways so you should listen to it: open.spotify.com/album/2AmBEH...

The 2025 version of The Beatles Anthology docuseries is pretty good! I watched the original at one point and I remember getting a bit of live Beatle fatigue. The new version seems to cut some of the concert footage a bit, which I think is good.

Whoever made the Sonic Adventure 2 randomizer should update it so when you choose to randomize the music it has a 1 in 1000 chance to replace all of the songs with City Escape. Speed runners will love it.

Modern phones are crazy. I updated my phone for the first time in 5 years and the minimum memory option was 128 gigs. My last phone had 64 gigs and that was big for the time!

Anthology 4 is solid, but I can't help but feel like having no live performances is a bit odd. The studio stuff was always the better stuff anyways, but still.

Man, that Real Love remix. Oof. I guess AI isn't there yet to make John sound normal in it. Better luck next anniversary remix I guess.

This song was good actually. It kind of exploited Paul but I could see this getting a resurgence more than other 2010s songs. The hook is catchy af.

I find it funny that when professional musicians list their favorite albums it's always pretty well known stuff but when film people list their favorite films its always the most obscure films casual audiences haven't seen.

"The logic of algorithms tends to repeat what works, but art opens up what is possible"

Damn, the new Pope may end up being the only person in any kind of global power that fucking gets it.
