I recently saw an interview of Ken Jeong and he talked about the incredible amount of effort he put into playing King Argotron, and I just love that so much. EVERYONE committed to the bit on this movie HARD and I love it.

For me at least, I grew up in and around some really rural areas and I developed a basic sense of direction early on, especially as a kid who liked to wander in the wilderness.

I remember reading how Garfield wrote the first book as a warning of the dangers of vigilante violence and how shocked he was how people absolutely ATE IT UP and wrote the second book as a reaction to that. And then we've got Bronson running around NYC with a belt-fed machine gun in the movies. 😬

Oh yeah, I mean I'm generalizing wildly here and some of these authors used The Turner Diaries as jerkoff material. I guess I mean more like a writer today painting "Antifa" as this diabolical shadow army that's going to, uhhhh, take over the country and force Patriots to have pronouns and UBI!

I didn't have a console back in the 90s but I remember seeing the GEAR UP ad for Metal Gear Ultra in a comic book or something that had all this cool gear and weapons and it seemed like the most awesome thing ever and I never played it. 😓

I've been burning through the early Able Team books (currently on the psychotic ARMY OF DEVILS) and even the folks at Gold Eagle in 1983 saw that undocumented immigrants were just hardworking people trying to find a better life for their families. Gadgets and Pol are practically "woke leftists"!

Amazon just showed me a far-right novel that came out in July of this year that has A THOUSAND REVIEWS already with an overall rating of 4.7 and an overall Kindle Store rating of just over 6,000. Premise? The "Radical Left" takes over the US and causes a second civil war, of course!
