Hello new chums!

We’re Brandt&Stein, and we make comics. Marvel, DC, Image, BOOM!, Dynamite and plenty of others. We like character acting, violence, silliness, and never drawing the same way twice. Currently working on a bunch of things we absolutely cannot talk about

This is so fucking weird. By the end of January all the line art will be done. By the end of February the art will be complete and our work on the book will finally be done. Still feels fake

By the end of this month there will only be 41 pages of Worst Man left to do layouts for. The end isn’t creeping up, it’s barrelling towards us like the fucking Juggernaut

The writer of this RINGO NOM’D INDIE COMIC (and a very dear friend of mine) is a Syrian Refugee who has been through more continuous hardships than I have space to list here; constantly navigating visa applications, unstable living conditions, predatory landlords (limited options as a refugee).

Anas just wants to make comics and live a normal life like what so many of us take for granted. Backing this campaign will help Anas to take the next step toward freedom and autonomy, helping to fund a move to another country with more stable employment options. This is truly one of the most important comics purchases you will ever make.

Middle Eastern and North African comics creators are some of the most underrepresented in the comics industry of the western world. Anas isn’t running a GoFundMe to support this move, and is not asking for charity. Simply, Anas is using their talent for storytelling, along with Dennis’ gorgeous art, to offer you a beautiful experience in the comics medium, that also goes toward funding a better life for Anas.
