Code-slinging Salesforce Apex dev by day, chaos-wielding Dungeon Master by night. My safe word is Copado.

I’m stoked to see another entry in the series! But I wanted to know — it’s a popular series, but is it harder to write in something more established?

Bluesky is like Gmail: seamless onboarding, unified branding, and user-friendly access to decentralized tech. Mastodon is like running your own mail server: full control and independence but with complexity and fragmentation. Bluesky appeals to the masses; Mastodon caters to niche, tech-savvy users.

OK, but how was this different than Mastodon? Not that I like Mastodon at all, but they tried to decentralize the social posts system, and the experiment failed. What inherently is different in Bluesky’s implementation?
