For SOME reason, they're giving the same are-you-a-socialist questions to Harrell, and they're giving Harrell tons and tons of time to answer each yes/no question. How about some rapidfire gotcha questions aimed at him? No?

Apparently she’s been making an ass of herself in news media for some time…
During yesterday's King County Council meeting, where the council called for John Arthur Wilson to resign as assessor amid stalking and harassment allegations (whose details he has never denied), someone mentioned to me that former Seattle Times columnist Joni Balter defended him on @kuow.org.

NYT doing shitty non-local reporting? Who would have guessed
This article has a lot more important problems so I feel stupid saying this…but umm…the Mercury wrote and published the first major article about the DSA councilors back in June. Of course it isn’t the local reporting linked or mentioned here.

This is very challenging news for Sound Transit.
HAPPENING NOW: the Sound Transit board is getting new details of the full long-term financial deficit impacting the agency over the long term.

CEO Dow Constantine just told board members that the agency faces a 20-25% funding shortfall through 2046, a gap that translates to $30-$40 billion dollars.

Greatest single scene in movie history. Not a single word needs to be said. I get goosebumps every time I watch it.

I agree, by the Cantina scene I feel like a fly on the wall!
It happened again:
I start watching A NEW HOPE. At first it's childish, clumsy, ridiculous even, but when the suns set, Luke looks into the distance and the John Williams strings come in, I'm fully committed. By the Cantina scene I'm totally immersed in the adventure. Still a lovely movie #filmsky
